Supervision creates an environment within which we can develop a deeper understanding of our clinical work as counsellors and therapists. It is a space for us to think together about our work, find fresh insights, and share our experiences. As a supervisor, I create a supportive environment for your work with clients as well as your own inner work and development as a practitioner.
My work as a therapist is heavily rooted in a relational approach. I am particularly interested in building a nourishing relationship between myself and my supervisees. This relationship can then be used to acknowledge personal processes, develop skills and understanding as well as exploring challenges and questions relating to the wider counselling and psychotherapy profession. I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP and have completed training with the Centre for Supervision, Training and Development (CSTD) in Bath using the Hawkins and Shohet supervision model. I work from Unity Street in central Bristol and have in person availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I offer online supervision on alternative days. My fee for supervision is £65 per 50 minute session.
Group supervision and reflective practice
I have many years of experience providing organisational group supervision and reflective practice within the NHS and with various community organisations and charities. If this is something your organisation is seeking, please get in touch to discuss your needs and what I can offer.
